Introduction

After earning his law degree from Florida State, Craig Reutlinger served in the Air Force for five years as a Judge Advocate and Medical Legal Consultant. He later worked as Chief Legal Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Carolinas Medical Center and other health care facilities of the Carolinas HealthCare System (now known as Atrium Health). Reutlinger founded the firm with Phil Van Hoy in 1989. In addition to employment law, Reutlinger specializes in advising health care providers on corporate, contractual and health care related matters. Reutlinger previously served as Chair of the Health Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and as President of the North Carolina Society of Health Care Attorneys. He is a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
